Remington Contemporary Art Gallery
The Remington Contemporary Art Gallery (RCAG) is the The Remington Group’s public art initiative in Downtown Markham. This exciting new gallery, often without walls and in unexpected places, features a unique collection of work created by a distinguished and diverse group of international artists, and is integrated into all of Downtown Markham’s public spaces.
On the main floor of 169 Enterprise Boulevard, in the Great Room or pool area of the Toronto Marriott Markham and even in our parking garages, visitors will experience a variety of multi-dimensional pieces of fine art intended to engage and inspire the viewer. A number of high-profile artists have been commissioned to fill the space with creations that reflect non-traditional art forms and the eco-friendly values of The Remington Group.
From parking garages to overhead spaces, along sidewalks and even integrated within the buildings themselves, visitors to DTM can experience and engage with this unique collection. Nowhere else can you find pieces like rideable, sustainable work of art The Pride of Canada Carousel or a curated exhibit of photographs from The New York Times Canadian Photo Archive.
