Located within the OVIN Demonstration Zone on Enterprise Boulevard, between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road, SCOOTY will showcase its cutting-edge e-scooters and e-bikes. This initiative is designed to bridge transportation gaps and enhance connectivity in Downtown Markham, aligning with the City of Markham’s commitment to a sustainable and interconnected urban landscape.
A Collaborative Effort
This demonstration is the result of a strategic partnership between the City of Markham, SCOOTY, and The Remington Group. It is supported by a $2.5 million investment from the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) and the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI). The OVIN Demonstration Zone offers a practical setting to test and refine advanced mobility technologies. This project is part of the Ontario government’s broader $56.4 million investment in automotive and smart mobility advancements.

How Does SCOOTY Work?
Find a Ride: Open the SCOOTY app to locate the nearest available scooter or e-bike.
Unlock and Ride: Scan the QR code on the vehicle using the app to unlock it. Follow the in-app instructions to start your ride.
Enjoy Your Journey: Both scooters and e-bikes are designed for comfort and ease, making your ride through Downtown Markham enjoyable.
Park and End Your Ride: When you reach your destination, park the vehicle in a designated area and end your ride through the app. Please ensure it’s properly parked to avoid any inconvenience to others.
