This year marks the 29th anniversary of the CTV Toy Mountain Campaign, in partnership with The Salvation Army, to support families in need. We’re counting on businesses, schools, organizations, and our Downtown Markham community to come together and help build Toy Mountain with your generous donations!

Time: 5:00 – 8:00 PM (Live broadcast on CTV News at Six, 6:00 – 7:00 PM)
Come for the fun and stay for the giving! We’ll have hot chocolate, sweet treats, and carousel rides for just $1. Drop off your donation and enjoy the festivities with us!
Yamaha Music School Performance
This year, we are thrilled to showcase a special performance from Downtown Markham’s very own Yamaha Music School! A talented group of young and intuitive students will bring the holiday spirit to life with their renditions of Frosty the Snowman and Silent Night. Join us at 6 PM to experience their heartfelt performance, sure to captivate audiences of all ages and add a magical touch to the evening.
How Can You Help?
Spread the holiday cheer by donating a new, unwrapped toy or teen gift! Drop it off at the Pride of Canada Carousel during our weekend operating hours (12–6 p.m.) and enjoy a free carousel ride as our thank-you! Donations will be accepted until Sunday, December 15th.
While we appreciate all donations, we often run short on gifts for tweens, teens, and babies. Help us fill the gap by choosing gifts tailored for these age groups! Let’s make the holidays brighter for everyone in need! ❤️
