Saturday May 4th | 7.30 – 10 PM | Samba Squad
Founded in 1999 by percussionist Rick Shadrach Lazar, this dynamic group has become a leading act in Canadian World and Latin music scenes. From jazz to international drumming festivals, they’ve performed at Toronto and Montreal jazz festivals, Muhtadi International Drum Fest Tobago, London Sun Fest, and more. Mixing heavy drum grooves, vocals, and engaging audience interaction, Samba Squad’s music blends influences from Brazil to Toronto, resulting in a vibrant fusion that defines their unique sound: One Heart, One Mind, One Groove.
Saturday May 18th | 7.30 – 10 PM | School of Rock
The School of Rock Markham House Band comprises talented 15-18-year-olds skilled in various music genres from Rock to R&B and beyond. This audition-only group features the school’s top performers. Over the last decade, they’ve toured the United States six times and held a week-long residency at the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana. They’ve also performed at prestigious venues like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH, and in cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, Nashville, and more. The band is gearing up for another exciting tour of the United States this summer! School of Rock Markham is a performance-based music school in Markham, ON, offering programs from age 4 to adult.
Saturday June 1st | 7.30 – 10 PM | DJ Oliver + Larry Lo Sing Song
Step into the world of DJ Oliver, aka Oliver Harriott, a seasoned entertainer with over three decades of DJing mastery under his belt. From house beats to techno rhythms, dancefloor anthems to reggaeton vibes, soca grooves to R&B classics, and everything in between, DJ Oliver’s diverse repertoire keeps the party alive.
Next, join Larry Lo on “Golden Oldies” as he takes us through the golden era of music with timeless melodies. Known as the “Encyclopedia of Music” and “King of Golden Old Songs,” Larry has nurtured countless talents and founded the acclaimed “Larry Singing Group.” Tune in for musical bliss and rediscover the magic of classic tunes with Larry Lo and his Singing Group.
Saturday June 8th | 7.30 – 10 PM | MFFC Special Variety Show
Enjoy a special variety show, hosted by the MFFC, that’s packed with entertainment and fun for everyone. From their Youth Performing Arts Group enchanting you with crowd-pleasing Disney and Abba medleys; to engaging Line Dancing and standout Solo Performances to get you up on your feet; and a Live Band which promises to bring infectious energy and rhythm. Dance the night away and create unforgettable memories with us in DTM!
