September’s Dine Out event is one for the kids: An opportunity to learn how traditional Italian chefs make pizza pie.
Participants of this culinary experience will gather at Costa Sorrento to learn how toss pizza dough and dress a pizza before sliding it into an authentic Italian pizza oven. Guests will then enjoy their creations with a beverage and a scoop of gelato.
The pizza-making events are slated for September 7, 21 and 28, at a cost of $20 per person. Each event is limited to 10 participants … and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bake & Take – Lucullus Bakery and Roasters – SOLD OUT!

The first culinary experience available is on July 21 and July 28, a “bake and take” at Lucullus Bakers and Roasters, where aspiring bakers will get to step behind the counter to learn how to make two of the award-winning restaurant’s classic bao (BBQ pork and pineapple) from one of the bakery’s owners.
While a bao could be filled with almost anything, the process of making these delicious steamed buns is very complex, with an exacting pace.

Exclusive Bottle Launch and Dinner – Draco Lounge – SOLD OUT!

The August culinary experience is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event.
A select group of connoisseurs will have an exclusive opportunity to sample a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 20-year-old Bourbon – one of the world’s best and rarest bourbons – at Draco Lounge in the Toronto Marriott Markham.
Guests will also spend the evening enjoying a five-course menu specially prepared for the event with wine pairings sure to delight the senses.
The event is scheduled to take place on August 21, and is limited to only 12 participants at a cost of $350.

Enjoy a number of Veuve Clicquot champagnes and an exclusive five-course meal uniquely crafted with ingredients intended to enhance the flavours of the world’s most luxurious champagnes!
This unique event takes place on Aug. 22 at 7pm at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, 170 Enterprise Blvd., right in the heart of Downtown Markham. The $216 cost includes taxes and gratuities.
